These features limit the effect generated by "non-linear loads" on the voltage distortion provided by the inverter.

Integration in low voltage networks
A perfect sinewave and "clean" input current DELPHYS elite is designed to avoid the disturbances usually generated by energy converters on the upstream distribution network. DELPHYS elite is fitted with an IGBT PWM rectifier providing Power Factor Correction (PFC) This cutting edge technology ensures the input current is "clean" and perfectly sinusoidal. The current distortion is exceptionally low (THDI < 3%) and avoid pollution of the upstream power supply.

No additional investment costs
DELPHYS elite enables lower infrastructure investment by reducing the rating of:
* power supply source (transformer and generator set)
* supply cables
* protective devices

and it also requires less floor space in your technical areas or plant rooms.

Cost-effective
DELPHYS elite saves you space in your technical plant room: a 6 m2 room is sufficient for installing a 200 kVA DELPHYS elite with batteris for 10 minute back-up time.
For even more economic operation, choosing the ECO-MODE configuration (prioritised operation on the bypass network) provides 98 % efficiency.

Flexible
With various options for parallel configurations, DELPHYS elite offers even higher operating flexibility.

A Reduction in the power consumption
Power factor close to 1 (PF = 0.99) reduces the power (kVA) consumed by aprox. 20 % compared to commonly-used technologies, reducing the input current in the same proportion, to the benefit of the upstream power supply rating.
These characteristics are independent of both frequency and impedance variations on the power source (transformer or generator set), and from the applied load to the UPS.
DELPHYS elite does not require additional harmonic compensation such as harmonic filters.
It is completely compatible with filtering systems or power factor capacitors already existing in the upstream distribution network.
DELPHYS elite is the right solution for networks including generating sets, as being no need for over-sizing.

Reliable
The use of advanced technology such as the use of digital processors and of SMD electronic boards (surface mounted devices) have reduced the number and surface of electronic boards.
This reduction in the number of components means that DELPHYS elite has even more reliability and increases its immunity to electromagnetic disturbances.

Communication
Multiple advanced communication interfaces enable the DELPHYS elite to communicate with your IT equipment and Network Management Station, as well as keeping users informed of operating conditions.
